Our Purpose  

The first purpose of Waterbury Baptist Ministries is to unconditionally communicate the love of God expressed through Jesus Christ by ministering to the physical, mental, emotional, and spirtual needs of the greater Waterbury Community. 

Our second purpose is to develop and facilitate a Christian Baptist faith community. 

The third purpose is to be a place where people can experience God as they minister to the needs of the people in the greater Waterbury Community.Waterbury Baptist Ministries will do all that is possible to facilitate this encounter with God.

Our Core Values 

We believe that it is essential for our church to live what Jesus called the greatest commandments.

First, we should love the Lord our God with all our heart, all our soul and all our mind. (Matt. 22:37)

Secondly, we should love our neighbor as ourselves.(Matt. 22:39)

Finally, we believe our church should live out the Great Commission. (Matt. 28:19-20)

We should go and make (of those who freely choose) disciples of Jesus Christ, and teach (empower) them to obey Jesus' command.
